Many of the current Muslims unknowingly have a tendency to underestimate the value of uttering this "بسم الله" word. The reality is, whenever it is used before doing any Productive or Positive work, the (بركة) Barakah of that act becomes increased by a great extent.
This Barakah is such a form of Allah's blessing that cannot be measured by any unit. Instead, it can only be experienced through the feelings of heart from the spirit of self-gratitude as well as from the sense of contentment.
That is why, it is also required to know about other forms of Bismillah as well the general one.
So let's begin this!

Ⅰ. Primitive:
"بسمك اللهم" or "Bismik-Allahumma". It had been used before the Nabuwwat (نبوة) of our Great Prophet (PBUH) at the age of Forty. Many Kafirs and Mushriks also had a common tendency to use it before starting the covenant of any Official, Confidential, Political, Social, etc. Agreements on a piece of leather during that ancient time. In fact, it was popular since the prophet Noah. This version means the same as the normal one, but there is only some minor pronoun difference. Which is, ك after 'Bismi-' word referring to the 2nd person perspective (indicating to call Allah) and هم portraying to Allah being the Lord of the plural creations. So, it ultimately means at the most accurate translative consideration, "Hey our Lord Allah! We are (starting/doing/initiating/planning/etc. it) by your Name."

Ⅱ. General:

We usually utter it before eating, drinking, donating, etc. something. As most of the Muslims already know, I don't need to translate it for your convenience. It enhances Barakah as per a Hadith information. And most importantly, It is present before 113 Surahs in the Quran. The first Surah (الفاتحة) have this as an independent verse before "Alhamdulillah-i-Rabb-il-3aalameen". The ninth Surah (التوبة) is the exception. However, that absent Bismillah can be found in the 30th verse of twenty-seventh Surah (النمل) when the Queen of Sheba community was reading (and informing it to her royal members) the first line of a letter sent by Solomon to her.

"بسم ٱللَّهِ مَجْر۪ىٰها ومُرسىٰهآ" or "Bismillahi-Maj-ray-haa-wa-Mursa-haa". It had been used by the Prophet Noah when he was about to enter his constructed humongous Ark to finally launch it along with all those pairs of various species from the Animal Kingdom of that time. It can be translated as, "Its course/pathway and stoppage/anchorage prevails by the name of Allah". In fact, it is one type of Du3aa to Allah for the safety of travelling which is still used today by many Muslims. It can be found at the 41st verse of 11th Surah (هود). The exceptional matter is, due to the natural accent of Noah, Allah also kept the pronunciation exactly as what he had uttered on that ancient time. That is why there is a part (مَجْر۪ىٰها) of 'Maj-ray-haa' INSTEAD of 'Maj-ree-haa' as what Meccan Arabians were supposed to pronounce according to their accent or dialect.

"بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله" or "Bismillahi-was-Ṣwalaatu-was-Salaamu-3alaa-Rasool-il-llah". It is mainly used before doing any Islamic work e.g. entering the Mosque or Madrasah, Starting any Da3wah project, massively donating charity, etc. It means, "By the name of Allah and the Prayers as well as the Peace be upon the Messengers of Him". It may be called as another form of sending salutations upon the Great Prophet (PBUH) as well as upon all the other Prophets sent from Allah. That's why, it is named so.
"بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله" or "Bismillahi-was-Ṣwalaatu-was-Salaamu-3alaa-Rasool-il-llah". Ⅵ. Reliance:
"بسم الله توكّلت على الله ولا حول ولا قوّة إلا بالله" or "Bismillahi-Tawakkaltu-3alaa-llahi-walaa-Ḥawla-walaa-Quwwata-illa-billah". It is usually used before going outside to anywhere from the home as a Du3aa for affirming the reliance upon the Power of Allah. It translates as, "By the name of Allah (as) I rely upon Him and there is neither any possibility nor any power (that can be present) except Him." If you utter it by being aware of its accurate meaning, you will already be enforced with an additional mental firmness and confidence (about anything that could ever happen after going outside till returning back to your home) by the will of Allah.
"بسم الله توكّلت على الله ولا حول ولا قوّة إلا بالله" or "Bismillahi-Tawakkaltu-3alaa-llahi-walaa-Ḥawla-walaa-Quwwata-illa-billah". It is usually used before going outside to anywhere from the home as a Du3aa for affirming the reliance upon the Power of Allah. It translates as, "By the name of Allah (as) I rely upon Him and there is neither any possibility nor any power (that can be present) except Him." If you utter it by being aware of its accurate meaning, you will already be enforced with an additional mental firmness and confidence (about anything that could ever happen after going outside till returning back to your home) by the will of Allah.

Ⅶ. Premium:
"بسم الله الذى لا يضرّ مع اسمه شيء فى الارض ولافى السماء وهو السميع العليم" or "Bismillahi-lladhi-laa-yaḍurru-ma3a-smihi-Shay2un-fil-Arḍi-walaa-fis-Samaa2i-wa-Huwas-Samee3ul-3aleem". It is the last but not the least, premium version of Bismillah that can ever exist in this universe. Forget the drama and move on! It can be translated to English like, "By the name of Allah with Whose name nothing can harm either on the Earths or in the Heavens. And He is the All-Hearing & All-Knowing". A hadith is narrated from Sunan Abi Dawud 5088 regarding this premium Bismillah,
"Aban ibn Uthman said:
I heard Uthman ibn Affan (his father) say:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say:
If anyone says three times:
"[The same Du3aa as you can see above]"
then, he will not suffer sudden affliction till the morning,
and if anyone says this in the morning,
he will not suffer sudden affliction till the evening."

"بسم الله الذى لا يضرّ مع اسمه شيء فى الارض ولافى السماء وهو السميع العليم" or "Bismillahi-lladhi-laa-yaḍurru-ma3a-smihi-Shay2un-fil-Arḍi-walaa-fis-Samaa2i-wa-Huwas-Samee3ul-3aleem". It is the last but not the least, premium version of Bismillah that can ever exist in this universe. Forget the drama and move on! It can be translated to English like, "By the name of Allah with Whose name nothing can harm either on the Earths or in the Heavens. And He is the All-Hearing & All-Knowing". A hadith is narrated from Sunan Abi Dawud 5088 regarding this premium Bismillah,
