A Disadvantage of Music listening

The person who is habituated (or addicted in some circumstances) in listening to songs and/or music mostly by putting on headphones or earphones gradually loses a special part of his/her hearing sense. That part is so special that whenever you harness that part, identifying the location, direction, origin, source, etc. information of any sound can be easily done. That is the main reason behind some blind people can connect with the real life better than a healthy-sighted individual just by using their simple ear-holes. Therefore, protect that specialty of hearing sense which is blessed by Allah upon YOU through avoiding musical audios as much as possible.

The Prophet (SAW) said, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful."
