What is Materialism and Secularism?

Materialism is a concept where people only depend on pleasure-giving materials e.g. money bills, gold bars, silver bars, jewelries, house, property, cars, computers, mobile phones, music, video-games, online subscriptions, etc. for happiness. Not going to lie, it can never bring you real happiness. Rather, only putting trust upon Allah and being grateful to him (there are always some things to be grateful for) will bring you such expected happiness (which you've been wishing for) as a completely stable emotion. 

Secularism is an illogical concept where everyone (who are following the concept) becomes their own god (that is, slaves of their own selves) through doing whatever they themselves personally prefers to do without thinking about the negative consequences due to doing such activities. Always keep it in mind, Allah is the real and absolute God. He created you, not you did create yourself. So, only He deserves to take the wish about what will you actually do. Meanwhile, you MUST have to maintain His given rules and limitations for you according to the Quran and Sunnah (Hadith). And He never ever wishes something negative (i.e. opposite of welfare) for His creations like us on an absolute sense.
